10 Ways to become LESS AWESOME!
Who the hell wants to be awesome anyway? Not me for sure. I hate feeling great, looking fabulous while changing my life for the better. I mean its just so much hard work! For me I never want to put the effort in and make changes, well because that seems like way too much.
It can't be just me there must be others that are worried they may be become too awesome?
Below are some of the best ways to become more less-awesome in your life and fitness. Doing these regulary is a sure fire way to make your body and life suck FOREVER!
1. Never changing your workout....for like months......maybe even years!
Keeping your workout the same week in and week out is an excellent way to never see changes in your shape. Your body loves doing the same thing over and over again. If you do this your body becomes accustomed the activity and starts to burn less calories. Progress stops and you never change.
REMEMBER....Do the same thing for years = looking the same (crap self) for years
2. Lifting weights that resemble a small tiny little mouse
No one wants to build muscle! Who wants to burn more calories, look better, fit in to the clothes you want to wear and basically piss awesome anyway? When you lift really light weights (less than your handbag ladies) theres no need for your body to build sexy muscle and burn lots and lots of calories.
REMEMBER.....less muscle = looking like crap and never having the chance to burn calories when you're not at the gym
3. Eating less and less (way below your resting calorie needs) all the fricking time
If you eat less food it basically means you loose weight, right???? So if you keep your calories low you'll be the slimmest you've ever been. Forget the fact that eating enough food could mean you build muscle which makes you in turn more awesome rather than less awesome. Who cares when you eat less and less your metabolic rate lowers to a standstill! Anyway you love feeling tired and lousy all the time due to lack of food anyway so why bother eating.
REMEMBER.....eating below resting calorie needs = lower metabolic rate and feeling like shite!
4. Doing crazy assed workouts from the latest greatest fitness dude or friend
Who wants a workout tailored to the person, as that may actually make a difference to our shape and body. You want to do the same crazy workout every other person does because it seems cool and the thing to do. You want a workout that doesn't take in account that your body is different to everyone else's. Stay nieve and be sold a dream.
REMEMBER....doing crazy assed workouts = injury and no progress in the gym
5. Doing lots and lots of cardio at the same intensity
Who doesn't love doing loads and loads of boring cardio each and every workout? You get to do exercise while you read the newspaper and update Facebook about how un-awesome you. Doing the same low intensity for long periods of time will not only stop you for burning lots of calories during and after your workouts but also slow your fatloss/progress to a standstill.
Remember.........Continuous cardio = less calories burnt and barely any increase in fitness
6. Not having a plan when you hit the gym
Planning is hard and takes time. Forget the fact that not having a plan means you don't know what you did last week and what you need to do during the next workout. When you haven't got a clue you don't have to commit to anything which is so un-awesome. It ensures you never get out of your comfort zone making life easy whiling never seeing changes. Becoming less awesome by the day.
Remember.......no plan = to clue and no progress
7. Never pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone
Pushing past your comfort zone sucks plane and simple! Why would you want to do this anyway? It's not like working out of your comfort zone could actually mean you make a change to your body or your life.
Remember.........staying in your comfort zone = never changing and sucking at everything
8. Constantly eat crappy food that has barely or no nutritional content
Forget eating your 5 a day and all that healthy fresh food the government recommends. It tastes awful and costs my hard earned cash. I want to spend my money on loads of pointless rubbish I don't need instead. Anyway that healthy food will make you feel awake, full of enery and keep illness at bay. Stick to a diet of ready meals, chocolate and take aways to fully ensure you feel tired and lousy.
REMEMBER......eating crappy food = tired and lethargic
9. Blaming everyone else
Its the 21st century and no one takes ownership of their lives anymore so why should you? Owning your life and responsibliies means that you could take change of your life and health while making positive changes. Thats tough so instead blame everyone else for your worries, poor health and terrible life, it'll be easier.
REMEMBER....blaming everyone else = easy but terrible life
10. Not calling your mum (or dad or both)
Yep I know you mum looked after you when you were young. I bet she still helps in times of need but you've got a busy life posting on Facebook how busy your life is. You don't have time to call your awesome mum to say "hi, how's everything going".
